Curriculum development
Develop inclusive and innovative learning experiences
Organizations can become stagnant when their curriculum and training programs are outdated and no longer relevant in today’s marketplace. Providing meaningful and current training, increases overall performance and morale, while positively impacting absenteeism and turnover rates.
Education plays a vital role in equipping and educating leaders with current knowledge, growth mindset, and diverse life skills. An effective curriculum design empowers teams to analyze a situation from multiple angles, innovate new and collaborative solutions, and respond in an empathetic and proactive manner.
Through curriculum revision and development, your programs will run smoothly, your people will flourish, and your organization will thrive.
My curriculum development process includes:
- Construct an advisory of stakeholders
- Encourage collaboration amongst diverse groups
- Actively listen and be responsive to feedback
- Assess training and development needs through surveys, interviews, and focus groups

- Conduct a needs assessment with your employees

Mental health and engagement in classrooms
Are you feeling stressed from the challenges in the classroom? Are you lacking focus and self-determination? Do you wish you could find ways to motivate your students, keep them on task, and manage their behavior?
Research shows that classroom engagement can protect against high rates of youth drop-out, the rise of adolescent mental health disorders, and increased suicide rates.
Find out what evidence based strategies will improve your resiliency and reduce burn out. In our work together, I will show you the research that demonstrates the positive difference that teachers are able to make in a student’s life when provided with accessible resources and opportunities.
You will learn how to foster motivation and engagement in your students, both of which are vital components of encouraging them to stay in school. As a result, this approach can improve your job satisfaction and morale.
Emotional scaffolding
Emotional engagement is the active ingredient in sustaining motivation and self-determination.
Understanding ways that teachers can engage students emotionally with the content they’re learning can bolster significant cognitive and behavioural engagement. Emotionally scaffolding trust, engagement, self-awareness, empathy, and relatedness are all proven to enrich the experience of teaching and learning.
Building inclusive environments
Are you struggling with bullying in your classrooms? Do you have students who are not accepting of others? Is there a lack of belonging and communication with other students and teachers? If you have answered yes to any of these questions, your classroom or school is lacking inclusivity.
An inclusive atmosphere allows all students the opportunity to demonstrate compassion and leadership in real life experiences, provides them with the opportunities to problem solve, and to appreciate that individual differences exist between people. However, educating all children in inclusive settings requires teachers to have evidence-based resources, guidance, and training.
This program builds tailored training to reflect diversity, inclusion, and respect to all students in the classroom. Inclusive environments promote interaction, collaboration, and a supportive attitude.
