Push boundaries and explore
new opportunities

I’m passionate about curriculum development because it’s a process that requires planning, constructing, implementing, and evaluating learning opportunities intended to produce desired changes in a learner.

Learners tap into what’s needed from them in society, they learn how to solve challenges, they connect meaningfully with people, and that instills a desire for life-long learning.

Ultimately, curriculum development equips future educators and leaders.

You can count on me to heighten the energy in a room, engage audience members in an active way, and provide easy to implement tools that open new opportunities and empower our future agents of change.

Nurturing Resiliency

Understand your stressors and how to move forward in a positive way

It’s a common practice for most of us to predict what may happen in the future or continue to live with what happened in the past. This can show up as anxiety, depression, or stress. Really, what we’re doing is creating false assumptions about our current life. Understanding how our emotions affect our mental health and well-being provides us with the tools we need to self-regulate and handle challenging situations in the best way possible.

In this thought-provoking session, participants will learn the four pillars of resiliency to identify stressors, strengthen resilience, and decrease stress levels.

Presentation takeaways:

  • Gain self-awareness to enhance your resiliency in the face of adversity
  • Understand thoughts and self-regulation to be mindful about living in the present moment
  • Make small improvements in your life and engage in self-care
  • Practice empathy and flexibility with people to create more positive relationships
  • Identify your purpose and get motivated to make lasting change

This program is designed for employees, employers, teachers, and health care professionals.

If you’re looking to understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors so you can improve the quality of your life, this session is for you!

Nurturing Resiliency in Classrooms

Empower your students and support their growth

Most educators may not know the best way to engage their students in mental health and well-being conversations that align with curriculum outcomes. They believe that they don’t have enough time in a day to add it to their busy agenda. The reality is that without it, students become depleted, classroom management becomes disruptive, and teachers become overwhelmed with stress and frustration. It becomes a never ending loop hole!

In this engaging session, participants will work through the four pillars of resilience to gain valuable tools and evidence-based strategies that any teacher can integrate into their classroom.

Presentation takeaways:

  • Learn practical tools to better manage inevitable stresses that both students and teachers face
  • Gain quick tips and tricks to turn your negative thinking traps into creative and positive responses
  • Engage in play to bring more joy, happiness, and well-being into your classroom
  • Understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to handle challenging situations

This program is designed for teachers who are in need of proven activities to nurture resilience both in the classroom and workplace.

If you’re looking to learn empowering tools to identify stressors and assess your strengths while meeting numerous K-12 educational learning outcomes, this session is for you!

She delivered an engaging and impactful product which we continue to receive rave reviews about.”
Alison Wall, B.Comm., Director, Strategic Partners & Planning, Service Hospitality
“I loved the mental health conversation. It was nice to have an honest, open, and vulnerable conversation about the struggles we face and to truly feel heard.”
Cassandra Kirby, Teacher, Sun West School Division
“I think that Elaina’s Mental Wellness 30 course should be mandatory to take. It is so important, not only for those suffering from poor mental health, but also those behind all the stigma. I want to make a binder of resources from the course so that I will always have them. Maybe if everybody had to take this course, people would be less cruel or judgmental, and be more understanding.”
